We are opening up El Niño room for the month of October 2023. The room is situated in a spacious beautiful home that will be shared with my housekeeper, her family and our dogs. This is a special deal, as you have access to the entire home, large fully stocked kitchen, dining and living space for an unbeatable price. Located in Hacienda Iguana, a 2 minute walk to Playa Colorado, a surfer's paradise. There is construction in the back, there will be some noise 8am-5pm.

I first sailed into the bay called Pie de Gigante ( foot of the Giant) in 1976. It was magic, beautiful but Costa Rica beckoned with the stories of empty wave and deserted beaches. Once those wave were crowded and the beached developed I returned to Playa Gigante. I'd spent most of my life looking for Cool Places and this is where I stopped looking and started building. Gigante is off the beaten path and still a fishing village, not an Expat hangout.
