The Rock Room

Explore 35+ wooded acres surrounded by national forest in the Rocky Mountains. A wonderful place for couples, friends, & solo travelers to relax or adventure in a modern cabin cut into a rock wall <15 mins from Salida, CO. We designed the Rock Room with 6 floor to ceiling windows and an automatic garage door that opens up to a rock wall and your private covered balcony which overlooks national forest on both sides. Located at the foot of Mt Elbert and steps away from the upper lake in the heart of Twin Lakes village (pop. 201), this cozy studio cabin is perfect for one! We offer what you need to prepare a nice meal, plus a hot shower, heat, one cozy bed, covered deck with a mountain view, and space for your things. The covered front porch faces Twin Peaks and Mt Hope! Whether you decide to partake in one of the area's adventures (or just soak in the quiet beauty) stargazing + a cool mountain breeze await.

Soothe your weary self in the Hot Springs brand private hot tub with lounger off back deck gazing at the billions of stars above. Firepit with seating (bring own firewood).

Listen to the sounds of the river while enjoying a soak in the hot tub on the riverside back patio. The views are spectacular and the style is fresh. This cabin is a rare find and a true gem. Town Hut - Cozy haven on BVs mtn side, EV charging

We welcome you to stay in our guest house: A modernized log cabin on three acres at BV's western edge. This quiet, in-town location is a good base for Arkansas Valley activities. Explore the backcountry or walk along BV's Peaks View trail. One turn and you’re headed up Cottonwood Pass for hot springs, hiking or a show at the drive-in. Or, bike or walk toward town for Turner Farm music, BV's restaurants and shopping a mile to the east and the Arkansas River and Fourmile trail complex beyond.

No fishing on property. Guests like to see our wild trout. There are many fishing spots nearby.
