Explore 35+ wooded acres surrounded by national forest in the Rocky Mountains. A wonderful place for couples, friends, & solo travelers to relax or adventure in a modern cabin cut into a rock wall <15 mins from Salida, CO. We designed the Rock Room with 6 floor to ceiling windows and an automatic garage door that opens up to a rock wall and your private covered balcony which overlooks national forest on both sides. Soothe your weary self in the Hot Springs brand private hot tub with lounger off back deck gazing at the billions of stars above. Firepit with seating (bring own firewood).

Entertainment: Satellite WiFi, Smart TVs, DVD player. Policies: No A/C, pets, parties, fire pits, or fireworks. 4x4 vehicle recommended in winter.

We welcome you to stay in our guest house: A modernized log cabin on three acres at BV's western edge. This quiet, in-town location is a good base for Arkansas Valley activities. Explore the backcountry or walk along BV's Peaks View trail. One turn and you’re headed up Cottonwood Pass for hot springs, hiking or a show at the drive-in. Or, bike or walk toward town for Turner Farm music, BV's restaurants and shopping a mile to the east and the Arkansas River and Fourmile trail complex beyond.
