After picking you up at your downtown core Toronto Airbnb, or other convenient location, we will start your adventure to Niagara Falls. Along the way we will stop at several picturesque waterfalls, an iconic Canadian cafe chain and an award winning winery. During short walks along tree lined paths at these smaller falls, you’ll learn about the geology of the area followed by a stop at a coffee shop chain that has become part of the Canadian identity. Then, we’ll hop in the car and continue to Niagara's wine region, where we will stop for a tasting (including ICE wine) at one of Niagara Regions most award winning wineries. After a delicious sit down lunch, we’ll go to the world-famous Niagara Falls where you will bathe in the mist from the Falls as we walk along the rim of the Niagara Gorge. We will have more than enough time for guests to participate in one of these optional self led activities: the historic Niagara Boat Cruise (in season April to late November) OR The Journey Behind the Falls when the boat is not available Following our visit to the upper edge of the mighty Horseshoe Falls we will return direct to Toronto. I want to be your friend-photographer for the day! :) This will be a private event! We will be walking around the neighborhood and avoid all indoor locations. Please dress for the weather. We will meet up and discover Yorkville together. If you are interested, I will also tell you about Yorkville's history of fame and fortune (ask me for photos from the 1900s!). We will take some lifestyle portraits in a park - this park gets new decorations every season and is a cultural hub. We will then continue walking towards the oldest street in the neighborhood. This area has a few of the oldest historical buildings in Toronto and a slight European feel. We will stop to admire the stark contrast between new condos and old buildings including some public street art, the chic coffee truck and the street with the most loved Italian restaurants. We will also stop at any spots that you consider photo-worthy. We will end the tour back on Bloor street - one of the most luxurious shopping streets in North America. You can shop here or head for the TTC station. Death in Venice Gelato is Toronto’s award winning best gelateria. I am the owner and the gelato maker of this unique gelato shop. The experience is a 16 course gelato tasting with a visit to the gelato lab where all the creative flavours are tested & produced. During the tour I will explain the differences between Icecream & gelato , the science behind gelato, production of gelato and the history behind the company. My unique back ground of being a chemical engineer and a chef will give you a unique perspective of the art of gelato. We have flavours that are seasonal and creative. Flavours such as smoked chocolate and bourbon, cheeseboard, Thai ice tea, pistachio baklava, coconut lemon cream Pai, peanut butter and croissants etc… are among many you may taste.. we are happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions. We will meet at Dundas Square for a brief intro to your experience after which we will head to the PATH to check out the world-famous Eaton Center, passing by Toronto's Financial District and Shopping District. We will be enjoying the soulful vocals of the city’s best rising R&B artists under the summer sky. The boat is an old pirate ship and will be traveling across the Toronto skyline. We will meet at a dance studio in Yonge - Eglinton neighborhood in Toronto. This experience is for individuals, kids, or couples/dance partners, and we will relearn the art of Salsa or Bachata (your choice. or both!) in leading and following. NOTE: If you don't see a booking date/time available, please just direct message me, and I will try to accommodate! I love dancing Salsa/Bachata because of the passionate music and sensuality. We'll practice the basic steps with a fusion into casual social dance with a partner. You will learn about timing, rhythm, turn patterns, body waves, hand holds, and sensing your partner. We'll have fun and you'll learn to dance with confidence. This lesson is for EVERYONE - from beginners with little or no dance experience to experienced salsa/bachata dancers. The class will last 1 hour. The goal is to give the male leader new leading skills and to teach the female follower to be present in the moment. It's a relatively foreign dance style, but it’s entertaining for sure! Btw, Salsa/Bachata is a fantastic way to connect with your partner on a romantic date night!!! Other things to note: Please wear comfy clothes such as jeans, slacks, yoga wear, or a dress. Comfy, casual shoes that can slide or socks are fine to wear on your feet. Socks usually work best.

Join me to explore Toronto's history and present-day on a walking tour around the city's downtown, Financial District, and Old Town. Toronto is a very multicultural city, and this experience will cover a variety of styles, and how it translates into architecture, culture, and street art. I've been hosting this tour for over 5 years, but only recently made it into an Airbnb Experience. Our small group walking tour starts at Yonge-Dundas Square in the heart of Downtown and then heads to the City Hall and Old City Hall. Our tour is heavily focused on Toronto's architecture, art and history. Highlights will include but are not limited to the PATH (Underground City), Union Station, Brookfield Place, Flat Iron Building, and the very interesting buildings and stories from the Financial District. We will finish our small group tour at St. Lawrence Market, considered one of the world's great food markets. NOTE: This tour does not end where it begins. As Toronto is constantly growing, my tour goal is to take you to all the landmarks that our city is famous for, but also very important, all those hidden gems only available through a unique insider look.

We'll meet just inside the Queen's Park entrance (east side of the museum off of Queen's Park Avenue) which houses a huge gold rotunda ceiling. Entry is free and washrooms and (free) coat check are nearby. The tour starts with my handing you cards with a strange image on one side and a cryptic message on the other. What do they mean? All will be revealed as we meander through the Age of Dinosaurs, Mammal and Biodiversity galleries. This is an interactive tour. It will not only engage you through questions and conversation but keep your interest piqued throughout; it is a 90-minute group interaction. I can't promise you'll immediately enroll to become a palaeontologist, but you'll end the tour with more dinosaur knowledge and maybe even a sense of wonder for these primordial creatures. During this 3 hrs workshop you will learn how to make natural soap. We will make it in traditional way, by hand. Learn from an experienced soap maker, step by step, what is involved in the cold process of making natural soaps. We will create a recipe, discuss the benefits of all natural ingredients that we can use in soaps. Nature is a powerful source of well-being, therefore we use quality plant oils, herbs, clay, essential oils, activated charcoal & minerals. You will learn some tips and craft secrets and obtain a lot of information if you plan to make soaps on your own. No previous experience in making soaps is required. This is a real workshop where you learn to make soaps from natural ingredients. I am passionate about protecting nature from further pollution and enjoying healthy lifestyle. By using natural soaps we make a little contribution to our mother earth and huge contribution to our own health. Learning a new skill is always good but if you can improve a quality of life, it becomes meaningful and unforgettable experience. Natural soap can be a great gift for health conscious people. You will leave this workshop with a couple of ready to use soaps (fully cured), knowledge how to formulate your own soap recipes and ultimately how to make it Other things to note The workshop is for the cold process of making Natural Soaps. Cold process made soaps have to cure for 4-6 weeks. You will take home 2-3 samples of previously made soaps. Our facilities are safely disinfected with natural Bioaromatica cleansing products. During this 2. 1/2 hrs workshop you will learn about natural ingredients that you can use in making healthy skin care products. We will talk about the benefits of natural oils & plants that can be used to improve overall health, particularly powerful for skin treatments. We will create a recipe for facial cream, body butter, skin toner, hair treatment oil, natural balms & salves. During the workshop we will have time to make three products. Mother earth facilitates the growth of countless species of plants that contain the secret of essential oils. Since ancient times these have been used in an almost intuitive way. Scientific research has confirmed that they contain a broad spectrum of active ingredients. The most common ways to apply essential oils on our skin is by diluting them in plant based natural oils. When mixed and applied as a cream the active constituents of essential oils and plant carrier oils penetrate our pores. From there they pass through the tiny capillaries under our skin and continue to be incorporated into our circulatory system. The rest of the journey is easy to imagine. You will take home the samples of each product we make.
