Tigers’Lair Dorsland Cottage

We offer you a special little cottage, built nearly a century ago, and carefully and lovingly restored. The cottage is close to the main farm buildings of the farm Tiger's Lair, 18 km southeast of Aranos (only 15km gravel road), a remote town in the southeast of Namibia. Great halfway stop to/from Mata Mata. We promise peace and contentment on a working farm, with sheep, goats, cattle and Arabian horses, miles and miles of beautiful red sand dunes and camel thorn trees typical of the Kalahari.

KayJay's Nest

KayJay's Nest is located in Block D, Rehoboth. The place offers 2 bedrooms with 2 queen-size beds fitted, built-in cupboards, and air-conditioning. Jedes Chalet ist voll ausgestattet mit kleinen Eisschrank, Gaskocher, sowie Gasgeyser, Geschirr und Bettwäsche für jeweils 4 Personen. Ideal gelegen als Zwischenstopp auf dem Weg in den Süden. Etwa 15km entfernt, liegt die kleine Ortschaft Maltahöhe, mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurant. Hudup Camp lädt ein zum Wandern, oder einfach zum relaxen. Eine reiche Vogelwelt erwartet den Besucher.

For those seeking a slower pace can wander through the farm's lush gardens. As night falls, marvel at the breathtaking display of stars illuminating the Kalahari sky, unobscured by city lights.

Gras Game Lodge

Gras Game Lodge is 230 km South of Windhoek, and 54 km from Kalkrand. Game can be seen here in abundance, freely roaming the savannah and bush. The beautiful main house was built in 1906 by the well-known Mr. Woermann, and is now restored to its former glory, with modern facilities added. Sundowners on the cliffs of the Fish River allows you to reflect on the events and impressions of the day.

21 Dunes refers to 21 red dunes on a working game and sheep farm in the kalahari. Our Selfcatering Units offer 2 bedrooms, extra bunker beds, aircon, 1 full bathroom and an extra guest toilet. Hot water will be provided by wood fired geysers (donkie) Solar Power. Kameeldoring wood and lamb meat for sale on the premises. Access to free Wi-Fi is available at farmhouse.
