Join me, a running enthusiast, for a group run through Seoul’s top sightseeing destinations, making new friends along the way. ▶️ 5km (On average 6:00) (We have some breaks time) • We’ll warm up at the Urban Meditation Studio before heading out for our run exploring symbolic landmarks in the city. • Along the route, we’ll pause to experience everyday Korean life at sites like Yeontral Park and its charming cafes, Hongdae’s fashionable Youth Street, and the traditional Mangwon Market. • After the run, we’ll gather for tea, networking, and a lively conversation about what we’ve seen. You’ll receive a pair of Korean running socks as a souvenir of your trip. You’ll leave not only feeling energized from your sightseeing run, but with a new appreciation for Korean health and wellness. ▶️ We run 5km at an average speed of 6.7 minutes. Join me, an award-winning illustrator, for a zine-making workshop using a Risograph printer for “digital screen printing” in Seoul's Mangwon neighborhood. • We'll begin with an introduction to the charming neighborhood of Mangwon, which features a variety of independent shops, cafes, and restaurants, via a risograph map. • I'll teach you the foundations of risograph printmaking and share different methods of making risograph works, including how to color separate illustrations and photographs. • Best of all, you'll get to make your own zine. You'll choose images, make collages, prepare the zine layers, and print your finished product with the risograph. You'll leave with additional recommendations for exploring the area, as well as your zine to commemorate your Seoul trip.

Visit the private Beauhemm showroom, known as the “Ant Cave,” for a personalized styling session with a fashion insider. I’ll help you create a series of new looks to show the world. • First, I’ll give you a guided tour of my collection, which includes thousands of vintage items. I’ve thoughtfully upcycled many of my luxury pieces to create unique looks for K-pop stars and other clients. • Then I’ll analyze your personal style and help you undergo a K-pop-inspired fashion makeover. • We’ll put together a series of looks with these one-of-a-kind pieces—and then it’s time for a photo shoot! You’ll leave with unique photos of your styling session, the opportunity to shop for pieces in my showroom, and my recommendations for other places to explore in Garosu-gil, my neighborhood.

Peek behind the scenes of a 40-year-old sesame oil mill, where you’ll get the chance to roast seeds yourself before enjoying the fragrant oils with Korean style small food. • After touring the mill and sipping tea, we’ll dive into the manufacturing process of sesame or perilla oils. You’ll even get a chance to wash and roast sesame (or perilla) seeds on your own. • In your first tasting, you’ll sample types of seeds paired with Korean ingredients. • As we shift to demonstrating the milking process, you’ll also get a chance to practice this step yourself. • We’ll then taste both sesame and perilla oils, including pairing them with more delicious food. We’ll end with another hands-on demo: Learning how to transfer the oil into glass bottles without spilling a drop. You’ll even get to take home a souvenir.

I’ll share insights about essential Korean ingredients, and you’ll be able to experience seeing sesame and pepper oils being pressed first hand, and walk away with your own bottle of sesame oil. • Thread your way through the aisles where lively fruit and fish sellers might urge you to buy their goods, and then sit down at a stall to sample a proper market snack: Korean fishcake (one of Korea’s most beloved street foods)—just like you’ve seen in your favorite K-drama. By joining me on this tour, I’m sure you’ll leave with a deeper understanding of the everyday life for locals in this cosmopolitan city—and if you want to pick up any of the market's most delectable souvenirs, I’m more than happy to help you converse and negotiate with merchants.

Watching baseball games in Seoul is special. Even those who aren’t keen on sports are likely to get caught up in the infectious atmosphere of a professional baseball game at the Jamsil Baseball stadium, complete with entertainment courtesy of K-pop cheerleaders. Before or after the match, we will also have a chance to experience the local food around the stdaium.
