Inside snuggle by the wood heater, outside relax on a hand hewn red gum deck with built-in bath, outdoor shower. The outhouse provides views across the wetlands and its wildlife! Gariwerd walks are a 10 minute stroll away, as is good coffee, the local brewery and the eateries of Halls Gap. Come and connect!

Halls Gap Gang Gang Villas: Kookaburra Villa

Self-contained 2 x queen bedroom villa in the heart of The Grampians National Park. An easy stroll into Halls Gap along sealed walking/ cycling tracks (2km). The villa is the perfect space to land, unwind and take in the quiet bush surroundings, enjoying visits from birds, kangaroos, emus and maybe an echidna or deer. Relax on the verandah or by the loungeroom woodfire. Explore, unwind, do the bare minimum or do absolutely everything… or somewhere in-between!

Conveniently situated 12km from pretty Dunkeld, the southern gateway to the Grampian mountains, and 23km from Hamilton. ‘Firgrove Retreat’ is on a working sheep farm with stunning views to Mount Abrupt and Mount Sturgeon. Firgrove homestead is set in a lovely, well established garden and is adjacent to the retreat.

Modern country style cottage constructed on the foundations of the original 1890’s cottage built by the first members of our family to immigrate from England. Walter and Sarah’s cottage is located walking distance from the town centre (including The Royal Mail/Wickens Restaurant), and the picturesque Dunkeld arboretum. World class hiking trails in the Grampians National Park are also only a short drive.
