Ever thought it would be fun to experience a day at a real working Christmas Tree Farm? Be our guest at the bunkhouse, a beautiful 320 sq ft tiny house full of character. Remodeled from salvaged materials on the farm, this bunkhouse features a full kitchen, bathroom with roomy bedroom and living room. Relax on the porch or roast marshmallows by the firepit. You can take a stroll through the Christmas trees, by the pond and in the spring and summer, through our U-pick flower patch.

A few minutes walk to Duke, the Cookery, downtown Durham. 6-minute walk to diner, coffee shop, food co-op. Our solar-powered 1936 home has a sunny LR, DR and kitchen. The cozy den has a foldout sofa and vintage rocker. 2 bedrooms with comfortable queen beds, desks and vintage armoires. Front porch with rocking chairs looks out over a garden of herbs and fragrant flowers maintained by the host, an award-winning garden designer. Deck with grill and table overlooks gardens and woods.

Rustic Cabin on a Working Farm in Durham

Come get away from it all—while conveniently close to everything—at Laurel Branch Gardens, a 12-acre farm that uses organic growing practices. About 100 yards from the farm house, the cabin is a renovated tobacco barn with a sleeping loft, full kitchen, bathroom (with a shower and composting toilet), and living area. Meet the pigs and chickens. Lay in the hammock. Listen to bird calls. During June and July u-pick blueberries will be available for harvest for $3.50/lbs.

Antler & Oak (Wheless Farms, LLC)

Set in the country for a Peaceful setting where you can hear the birds sing and see our beautiful flowers and enjoy sitting on the front porch and relaxing. We are set up as a Bed & Breakfast called Antler & Oak in Franklin County just north of Raleigh and East of Wake Forest. The place is 100 years old, renovated the front portion for use to accommodate guests. You have full access to the space including a full kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms & 2 1/2 baths.
