WHO DOESN'T LOVE SEALS? AND ABOUT BABY SEALS? EVERYBODY, RIGHT? They are amazing animals, cute and funny, and seeing them close it's an unforgettable experience! I'll pick you up at 8 am at Malmö central station, reachable in 30 minutes from Copenhagen, and trains every 20 minutes. We will drive for about 35 minutes; then we will leave the car and start a walk in the beautiful nature reserve, surrounded by the sea. While following the long peninsula, we can spot some of the birds breeding in the area, and at the end, we will approach a large number of seals. To not bother the animals, we will keep a safe distance, but don't worry: seals are very curious animals and will come close to us swimming along the shore. We will spend some time watching these beautiful mammals, inside or outside the water, while I will give you some information about them and the area. To make your experience even more unforgettable, I'll allow you to use my professional gear. I will help you to optimise your photographic skills: you'll have the opportunity of beautiful close-up shots that I will send you in a couple of days (after working on them). Depending on the weather, we will start going back to the car and then to Malmö.

Join us for a day of rocket-building in our workshop. You'll get a closeup look at how space exploration has transformed into a hobby—and vice versa—by a community of passionate artists and engineers. You'll witness the art of rocketry happening right in front of you, as our volunteers work on current projects. Meanwhile, we'll discuss how it's possible to build rockets with extremely low budgets. You'll see how they work, with hands-on explanations using our own built engines, boosters, capsules, and hardware. Finally, you'll get to experience the feeling of sitting in a space capsule, waiting for the moment to be launched into space. Other things to note Let us know if you are suspect to any of the following: bright welding flashes for people with epilepsy; severe metal allergies; newborns less than six months for risk of air contaminants from paint or welding.

This is our "Hidden gems" tour where we will show our own favorite spots, which are off the beaten track from the standard path. Expect to get an introduction to areas we think are cool, local, and where you get a great a sense of what the life in Copenhagen is all about. We will either take a southern route or Northern route depending on what is going on in the harbor at your specific departure day. The harbor in Copenhagen is undergoing rapid change, from an industrial harbor to recreational space open to everyone living in the city. During the summer months it acts as the main nerve binding the city together and attracting numerous water-based activities in the process. You will see how this is folds out with Kayaks passing by and happy Danes jumping into the water. We will point out our favorite places and hidden gems, whether you are looking a place for having an afternoon beer in the sun, a relaxed morning coffee, or simply and area to relax away from it all. As we explore the upcoming areas away from the inner part of the city you will see how former industrial buildings are being transformed into new spaces and how Copenhagen is evolving as a city. Other things to note Please be ready 10 min before We have a convertible roof for our boats we use for rainy and cold days, but nevertheless dress according to the weather. Experience the city that brought us Søren Kierkegaard You don’t need to be a philosopher to join this tour. If you enjoy a good story or just want to learn about Copenhagen’s history, this is the tour for you. The philosopher Søren Kierkegaard is one of the strangest figures Copenhagen has seen, and is undoubtedly one of the greatest minds to come out of this city as well as being a world-renowned philosopher! Born and raised in the capital, Kierkegaard (1813-1855) felt most at home walking the streets he knew better than most, talking to vendors, craftsmen and the ordinary people. On this walking tour through Copenhagen, you'll get the story of Kierkegaard's childhood, his growing up, his faith and philosophy (just a little), his struggles, mistakes and not least his unrequited love for Regine – to whom he dedicated his life’s work. The Copenhagen that Kierkegaard knew was quite different from today. With no sewerage, thousands of cows, pigs and horses, hundreds of thousands of rats – Copenhagen was known as one of the dirtiest cities in Europe. And yet it was: “Big enough to be a major city, small enough that there is no market price on human beings.” Other things to note Please note: the meeting place is NYTORV - and NOT Kongens Nytorv. :-)

Christmas or Jul as we call it here in Denmark is often described as a magical time full of traditions. Unfortunately, our Christmas markets doesn’t really do Danish Christmas justice, so join me on this festive walking tour and discover the meaning behind Danish holiday traditions - both the new and the ancient ones dating all the way back to the Yuletide traditions of Viking times. Highlights - Discover Danish merry-making with a Copenhagen native and get a better understanding of Danish Christmas traditions – both past and present - Snack on holiday treats like Danish æbleskiver (a kind of Christmas doughnut), the best Gløgg (similar to mulled wine, but better!), gingerbread hearts and a Julebryg (Christmas beer) - Enjoy the festive atmosphere of holiday lights and Christmas decorations all over the city, while I let you in on the cool, odd and crazy secrets of them - Experience some of Copenhagen’s most charming places that highlight that elusive Danish Christmas hygge - Play the traditional Danish holiday game of pakke-spil that local families enjoy at Christmas time Other things to note Bring 2 gift-wrapped gifts worth DKK10 each for the pakkespil. We recommend to buy it at shops like Flying Tiger of Copenhagen or Søstrene Grene. Please wear warm clothes, since Copenhagen can be cold in December. If you have dietary needs, please message us in advance.

Architecture is the physical product of a community, and thus a great approach to take if you want to understand more about a city and it's culture. Our tour on contemporary architecture is a great introduction to the nuts and bolts of the world’s most liveable city! You'll get an insight into Danish architecture and culture through buildings, public spaces, urban development and bike lanes. Recent building design and urban development are NOT exclusively for architects or architecturally interested! Starting from the central city the route will take you to places such as: Copenhill waste-to-power-plant-and-ski-slope (!) Parliament area Old town Vestervold Kalvebod harbour area Public spaces at Islands Brygge Havneholmen commercial and residential Amager Fælled urban nature Copenhagen architecture Danish Radio broadcasting complex Public community projects in former working-class area Maritime and cosy Christianshavn Art school campus + more at Holmen Projects by architects such as: Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) JDS Architects (Julien De Smedt) Lundgaard & Tranberg SHL Architects (Schmidt, Hammer & Lassen) Dorte Mandrup Arne Jacobsen Vandkunsten COBE Architects Gehl Architects Olafur Eliasson OMA MVRDV Jean Nouvel If the timing doesn't work, or 4 hours is a bit much, please consider our other tours: https://www.airbnb.ie/users/show/178775715 Other things to note Copenhageners are not afraid of water, so in case of rain, we'll go through with the tour. I'll try as best possible to make stops out of the rain, and we might decide to take a break on a café.
