If you have kids of different ages, this science museum is cool because some areas will really appeal to younger kids, some to older ones. Their exhibits are educational and playful. With my teenager, I recently visited one about videogames from Pac-Man through the present. On a rainy day, head to the on-site theater, La Géode, where they play 3D and IMAX movies about animals and space. Tickets are separate from the admission price.

La Villette & The Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie is the biggest science museum in Europe. If you love walking, then take a walk through The Parc des Buttes-Chaumont and then walk towards Avenue Jean Jaures which will lead you to one of the most exciting place not only in Paris but in entire Europe: The Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie; the Science City, Technology museum, submarine visit, Rides and Slides, 4D movies, Dome Imax, Cinemas, the biggest concert hall, Jazz clubs, Kayaking and lush green lawns to sunbathe and laze around. There are always events happening; outdoor cinema in summer, music festivals, markets, live concerts… A great place for family outing!

The city of sciences is a great nearby museum to learn science's discoveries in a practical way and enjoy the kids area that is like an amusement park for kids to learn while they play!
