Great pizza and Manly harbour views make this open-air, wood-finished hotspot a Sydney icon. There’s nothing better than croquettes, antipasto, and cocktails on the over-water deck on a warm summer night—unless you’re opposed to crowds, which this place can pull. After a couple of drinks, you won’t notice the fact that you can’t hear your own voice. You can’t go wrong with any of their wood-fired pizzas, but the margherita and meatball are hits. My coffee addiction goes late into the evening, so I’d pair my pizza with an espresso martini and match the buzz of the crowd. Hugos’ version is sweet but balanced. It’s a little too easy to drink.
Possibly one of the finer restaurants in Manly. Situated perfectly on the water at Manly Wharf. Banquette seating and deck. Delicious food and beverages.... my fav, a glass of bubbles and pizza
Great pizzas on the wharf overlooking beautiful Sydney Harbour. Can get quite busy so expect a wait at busy times.
“Great place to watch the sunset and have a beer or wine on the jetty of Manly Wharf. Great place to mingle with locals. ”
“Never eaten here myself (as I’m a veggie) but I’ve heard great things about it and it does a great happy hour!!”
“local beer brewery across the road from ferry terminal. my favorite is the beer tasting platter. cosy seating and often a live musician ”
“This great restaurant is situated at stunning Shelly Beach. It has a great selection of food, and a perfect spot to stop at for breakfast/brunch after your swim. I usually try to sit outside, as it can be a bit noisy inside.... it's often very busy during weekends and holidays, so I usually only stop if I can get a good tables. You can always get takeaway coffee/food and sit on the beach, under a palm tree or on a picnic table.”
