Urfa is a little Kurdish place that serves a dürüm—a galette cooked in an oven and served with grilled meat. During summer you can sit outside on wooden chairs that are super-low. It’s like you’re sitting on the floor! Pass by in the morning and you’ll see the cook preparing the fresh, housemade galettes for lunch.

Popular from Anthony Bourdain’s visit here. Kurdish sandwiches which the meats are grilled over open fire and the bread baked to order. Popular late night spot since there are a lot of bars in this area.
