Great spot for a steak and good food, also great for drinks. A little bit out of the city but a good spot to catch the ferry to for some lunch by the river. Also close to Mt Cootha.
Mix with uni students and young professionals at this expensive quasi-gastro-pub which has been rebuilt after two floods (1974 and 2011). Spot the tideline.
“Take the CityCat all the way along the Brisbane River. It's smooth & fast & a wonderful way to enjoy the city both day & night. Catch from Toowong terminal also.”
“Our favourite way to travel and explore Brisbane! Take a day trip along the river on one of Brisbane's City Cats, head across the river and explore West End's Friday night markets or head over to South Bank for a family fun day at the parklands & Lagoon... Maybe head into the city to get in some shopping or enjoy the cities nightlife. You could go a little bit further and you can explore Kangaroo Point which has a bunch of outdoor activities available and Eagle Street Pier to enjoy some of Brisbane's finest restaurants! If you want to enjoy arguably one of the best parks in Brisbane continue onto New Farm Park and have a great day relaxing in the open air! Why Not visit Hamilton and explore portside dining, shopping or even the Famous Eat Street Markets. The options are Limitless!”
“You can go to Toowong village by walking along the river for 10 mins, drive for 5 mins or bus or train.”

“As of July 2018 all major shops will no longer provide free bags so make sure if you are buying food you bring some bags with you or you will be charged for the supply of them. ”
