“This place is an absolute jewel. Located in the quiet hamlet of Federal, Doma cafe is popular with day-trippers heading from or to Minyon Falls. Their japanese food is out of this world and there is often live music in the garden. ”
“Visiting Minyon Falls is a beautiful day out. You will need a car to get there as it is about 50km or an hours drive from the villa. There is no entry fee to the park and you can either check out the waterfall from the viewing platform and walk around the trails or climb down to the waterfall to go for a dip. If you decide to head down to the waterfall you will be rewarded with an awesome rope swing which you can use to launch yourself into the pools below. ”
“Special night out? Look no further than St Elmo’s - amazing food, and a sophisticated and intimate atmosphere. The only drawback is snaring a table as, even on a quiet night, St Elmo’s is often booked out, so remember to book early. Whether you start at the bar or head straight to your table for some of the Bay’s best tapas, you‘re assured of a fantastic evening at this superb venue. REMEMBER: Put on your best holiday outfit and head to St Elmo’s for a night to remember! Open 7 nights a week from 5 pm st elmos byron bay ”
“Cape Byron lighthouse is an iconic building that stands at the headland and can be seen for miles around. The best way to see the lighthouse is to access it via the Cape Byron walking track which will take you around the coast via The Pass and Wategoes, with a final ascent to the lighthouse. The walk takes about 45 minutes one way and there are a few steps to get there but the views are out of this world. Once at the top, you can spot dolphins, turtles and whales (in season from May - Oct). Take some money with you as the cafe at the top must have some of the best views in the area! You can also drive and park at the top of the lighthouse. You will have to pay for parking.”
