This is probably my favorite bar in the Bywater as its still an authentic New Orleans bar without any pretentious hipster crap like a lot of the other area bars and restaurants are transforming into. The drink prices are reasonable and haven't upsurged insanely like some of the "gentrification" businesses catering mainly to tourists that also love to rip off recent transplant locals. I'm fine with fixing things up and making them nice but not at the expense of losing our local culture along with having to pay insanely inflated prices.
