Great veggie/vegan cafe that's longstanding and serves great food in the daytime. Cosy and unique.
Falmouth is a lively town with a rich history, beautiful scenery, busy harbour and a vast selection of shops, cafes and restaurants
“Hunky Dory has a lovely menu that includes fish, meat and vegetarian options - all prepared on site; many of the dishes are also gluten free or can be adapted to be so. There's a well selected wine list and you are always exceptionally well looked after. It is right in the centre of town, so a drink in the Chainlocker on the quayside is also a possibility! ”
“The best place for a drink or meal in Falmouth. An historic hotel with great views overlooking the estuary. Kenneth Graham write part of The Wind in the Willows here.”
“Locals favourite because the beer is great. Located in a cellar under Harbour Lights fish and chip shop. Take your chips in and enjoy with a pint. It's not posh here but the atmosphere is great, very friendly. Lots of regular events, pub quiz, breton dancing, open mic etc. Dogs like this pub too!”
“A unusual pub really.Groaning with character(s) but not all the characters are groaning.Depends how long they've been in the pub.Try the pool table with open fire at the rear.Live music regularly.Apparently the snack- type food is very good but we haven't actually eaten there yet. It's opposite the alarming Jacob's Ladder stairs leading down to The Moor.Hence the name.Once tried, never forgotten. Those stairs are breathtaking!”
