Formerly The New Theatre then the New Queens Theatre. The theatre became The Opera House in 1920. The Opera House has been a cinema and later a bingo hall. In 1984 it became a theatre once more and over the years, has staged magnificent shows and continues to do so.

The Opera House is a Grade II listed building on Quay Street, Manchester and seats 1,920. It's a commercial theatre that plays host to touring musicals, ballet, concerts and a Christmas pantomime.
