Home of the Hurricane, the flaming fountain and dueling pianos!
More than just Hurricanes! Try the Bloody Mary wings! They are our favorite!
This bar is the home of the hurricane drinks. There is often a piano player in the evenings. I recommend stopping in for a drink while in the French Quarter.
Home of the Hurricane (and headache). Everyone needs to check this place out, but everyone must check out the dueling piano bar. Two pianists play requests while the drunk audience sings along
It's tradition to start here. You must sit in the courtyard, you must order one and only one hurricane per person, and you must tip well so that you can drink it slowly with lots of water. This will lay a solid basis to the night - do not deviate.
“Laffite’s is known for being the oldest bar in the United States. You certainly won’t find it well-lit, as it only uses natural light (sunlight and candles) to illuminate the bar. ”
“Try the famous beignets and Community Chickory coffee! Located near the French Market!”
“Again, located on Bourbon Street, this bar is a great late night spot to practice your karaoke in front of a large audience. If you don’t want to practice, enjoy the rest of the character’s who get up there. ”
“Voted one of the "best bars" in America.. you may have to wait to find a seat at the bar.. but it's worth it! Go at non-peak times for less competition.”
“This is a must do! It may take you more than one day to tour and be able to soak it all in! You are able to immerse yourself into a journey through WWII. The exhibits are like no others that you have ever seen. You can go online to purchase your tickets in advance to save the wait in line, www.nationalww2museum.org”
