The craft brewery if thats your thing. Friendly vibe, meet locals and tourists.
This is a seriously good brewery and not just because it's the only one on Orcas :) Be sure to try the nitro brews if they have one on tap.
“A visit to Orcas wouldn’t be complete without experiencing Moran State Park. This 5,000+ acre park, the 4th largest in Washington State, is about a ten-minute drive from Eastsound Village. Abundant in natural splendor, the park including five lakes and 30 miles of hiking and biking trails. For an amazing view, hike or drive to Mt. Constitution, the highest point in the San Juan Islands. At Cascade Lake, fresh-water fishing is available. You’ll also find a beach and swimming area (great for kids) that are popular in summer. Orcas Island Trail Rides offers horseback adventures through the park.”
“Owner Cole has great wine tastings. Be sure to get a cheese, cracker and nut plate.”
“Historic restaurant in the mansion with an elegant fireplace in the bar. Try the forager pizza. The Cascade Grille outdoors by the marina is a place to soak up some sun and have a cold brew.”
“No frills cafe popular with locals. Decent coffee, bites, plenty of tables and Wifi. ”
