Great little Italian spot! Not in downtown, but a short drive or Uber. Outside seems sketchy, but inside feels like you were transported to Italy!

This is the best Italian restaurant in the Triangle (it has won best restaurant award for the Triangle several times). It's not downtown and is tucked away in a strip mall but don't let that fool you. It's also not insanely expensive. You can make your meal expensive but you can also make it very reasonable if you try. You've got to get the broccoli. I don't know how they get broccoli to be so amazing.

We don't normally recommend places that aren't right downtown... but this one is a rare exception. Incredible Italian food, unpretentious but warm atmosphere, just awesome.

Small Italian-inspired family restaurant that opened to good reviews. Call for reservation or go early. The dishes are continental in style with small local vegetable dishes, pasta courses, meat.

It’s hard to get a reservation here, but they have been doing take out. Remember when restaurants were still about making food for the art and love of it...this is it.
