Handmade, artisanal chocolates and pastries. Wine, beer, coffee, and tea as well. Pretty much have to come in or look on the site to get our mission, but it will be worth your time.
The only chocolate lounge with a bouncer at the front door on the weekends. Not due to the rowdy crowd but simply to ensure they are not overwhelmed with too many customers. Come here for an after dinner sweet treat, adult beverage or both!
Cuz....chocolate, duh! Amazing chocolate flavors and delicacies, conscientiously produced. My fave: cold sipping chocolate but you can't go wrong with the uniquely flavored truffles, quintessential chocolate cake, pot de creme, flourless chocolate cake........
This is a great "Downtown Spot". Parking can be challenging. I would highly recommend parking in a parking garage and don't forget your umbrella if rain is in the forecast.
This is an Asheville classic. A BCorp, this company is integral from the core. And their products are amazing. Especially the coconut macaroon brownie!
The infamous bean to bar chocolate lounge. My favorite truffle is the maple sea salt
They make their own chocolate and the truffles are to die for! You can even tour the chocolate factory! Highly recommend if you are a lover of all things chocolate!
“Spanish tapas restaurant that’s a hip eatery in a former 1927 bus depot offering elevated small plates, cured meats, sherries & wine. Many locals and visitors love this restaurant”
“Great place for beer, wine and wonderful choices of things to eat. Restaurant and bar are upstairs and a bar and heated outside seating for those who have dogs. ”
“I just love going here for jazz and a champagn cocktail on Sunday afternoons! please be sure to stop in this old bookstore.”
“Excellent breakfast served all day with other goodies as well. Specializing in farm-to-table cuisines.”
“This is a great tea house, best if you can get a small booth to yourself (not happening on Friday or Saturday night). Lots of teas with good explanations. One can learn a lot about tea, have many hot and cold drinks.”
