Bermuda has a steep tradition when it comes to fried fish sandwiches. Art Mels is the most famous and worth a trip to this side of town. Be sure to order with raisin bread like the locals! Everyone has there own opinion on the best on island. Another strong contender would be Woodys, Sea Side Grill or Cafe Ole (at crystal caves!)

This going to be one of the best fish sandwiches you will ever eat. A little off the beaten path but well worth it. 295-3965 is the number and my order is: raisin bread, coleslaw, tarter sauce and hot sauce.

The award winning fried fish sandwich sold at this location is worth the adventure in finding it. Located in the "Back of Town" this local hotspot designed a mile high sandwich that it takes two hands to hold. Try it on raisin bread or with coleslaw on top for a decadent yet delicious Bermuda treat. Not local fish but good quality frozen snapper. You can get a half order of fries to go with that and wash it down with a Barrits Stone Ginger Beer. While you wait, whet your appetite with some of their homemade tropical sherbet. A gustatory delight!
