Love this place, has that homey feeling from an authentic panaderia from back home. Very good and flavorful breakfast, Omelettes are AMAZING!
It's open for breakfast and it's simple, downhome cooking, locally owned and operated by Sergio. He told me recently that he has several gluten free items . Open 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. every day.
“Great, relaxed, family-friendly outdoor spot that often has live music. It's about a mile straight down Burleson from StayKind toward downtown/Hwy. 37.”
“If you've never been to San Antonio, then you may not know that, in addition to being the 7th largest city in the US and one of the top 10 recommended travel destinations in the world, it is quickly becoming the craft beer mecca of the western hemisphere. So, instead of buying-up Subway franchises, local investors are putting their money into beer gardens and brewpubs...and, earning high returns from the legion of crafty beer-types that firmly believe that paying anything for a glass of hops, barley and spices is perfectly acceptable. Big Hops has three locations in San Antonio, but this one on Austin Street is the only one anywhere near the downtown core and the cool part of the city.”
“This place has it all! The Original Fatty's Burgers; specialty fries; beer battered onion rings; chicken sandwiches; salads; & more. Mark & his family are huge community advocates participating in & hosting several important events. You don't want to visit San Antonio without trying this place & it's conveniently located in the neighborhood. ”
“In the mood for great Texas BBQ? Located in the downtown historic St. Paul Square, Smoke offers a relaxed atmosphere with large TVs to watch your favorite sports event. The menu includes brisket, ribs, chicken, and nachos.”
“Rice bowls are amazing here. Highly recommend trying their mac n cheese but come early because they run out quickly. Great place to grab a quick bite. Prices are around $10 for a rice bowl with salmon/chicken/shrimp and rice + a salad.”
