The Beautiful Lakewood Cemetery contains a chapel built to resemble Hagia Sophia in Istanbul and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. At 250 acres, it provides a big enough place to stroll away from the maddening crowds of Uptown.
This historic cemetery is truly beautiful. The Lakewood Chapel, Currently not open to the public, is all mosaic. Gorgeous. The reflecting pool and mausoleum and the grounds are relaxing, quiet, and historic. During Covid, people are encouraged to walk here quietly, it is a truly wonderful place…
It's a cemetery, and it ain't Pere Lachaise, but it's nice, fairly large, and very well kept. It's really great for walks.
“Nutella stuffed or Vanilla bean buttercream? You can't go wrong, these doughnuts are unlike any you've had before! Get them early though before the locals have gobbled them all up!”
“Unique vintage store finds and a vinyl record shop tucked into a separate room. Located in the heart of downtown Robbinsdale.”
“Looking for a locally made gift to remember your trip to MN? Everything in the store is crafted in MN.”
“This is the best Chinese restaurant in Minneapolis and my personal favorite. Everything on the menu is amazing. ”
Grocery or Supermarket
“Dong Yang is a Korean grocery store with a deli serving Korean cuisine in the back. It is a serve-yourself establishment, so once the order is placed, all worry about drink refills, napkins, and to go boxes are your responsibility. It's worth the work as the food is delicious! Our favorites are the Bulgogi Beef, Seafood Stew, and the Kimchi Stew.”
