Classic, excellent, always busy, reservation needed. Very very good food. Donald Link’s original restaurant location, so worth a visit if you are foodie.
Great food and absinthe. It can be a bit formal for dinner, but I like to step in for lunch and sit at the bar, for a more casual experience. Try the Spaghetti.
French/Southern American cuisine. Expensive but your taste buds will quickly justify the cost. Small, intimate interior; outside seating facing Lafayette Square. Reservations--yes.
Upscale French & American fare in an airy space with St. Charles Avenue views & outdoor seats.

“Just a great museum! If you happen to be so lucky to be staying on a Thursday evening, the Ogden hosts the "Ogden After Hours" which runs from 6-8pm it features live music and a few cocktail bars. Enjoy the Art, Music and have a drink as you explore the museum. Great views of the city from the roof top veranda. Very Fun!!!!”
