Big bang for your buck! This is an inexpensive way to get your Elliot Bay water experience. The water taxi is a passenger only ferry that shuttles between West Seattle and Downtown Seattle. Drive to the Water Taxi on Alki point, walk on and 15 minutes later you are exploring the historic Seattle waterfront and Pioneer Square. Easily Uber to different DT Seattle sights or walk to your heart's content.

If you want a really fun way to get downtown for not much money.. this place is about a 15 minute drive from the MIL.. Its basically a mini ferry that is about $4.50 per trip and allows for great views of the city.
