Visit Jordan Pond House for tea and popovers. This restaurant is nestled inside beautiful Acadia National Park. Much more touristy than the Asticou but fun nonetheless.

Not as busy as other beaches. Daughter likes to play on a nice stream that runs across the beach into the ocean. Rumor has it that Martha Stewart has a house in the area ”
“For a nice swim, warmer than the ocean, Echo Lake is the perfect choice. There are several access points-my favorite being "the ledges"- accessible by a short path down from the parking lot along Route 102.”
