Visit Jordan Pond House for tea and popovers. This restaurant is nestled inside beautiful Acadia National Park. Much more touristy than the Asticou but fun nonetheless.
This is a great place to have tea and pop overs and take a nice easy hike around the pond. If you can rent bikes and ride here on the carriage roads it is an amazing experience.

“Our favorite public beach in the summers. We like the long stretch of shallow water which is safe for young kids to play. I feel it is still cold in the summer but the kids seem not to mind.
