The Rock Inn
Both pubs in the village do good food but we would recommend to book in advance, we personally prefer the food in the Rock. The Kings is also sometimes has live music.
Excellent fresh food including local meats, fresh fish and delicious homemade desserts in a traditional countryside pub.
Really lovely pub , just 10 minutes drive away. Excellent food, good portions and menu varies according to what's in season. Child friendly.
An excellent gastropub in Georgeham, about 10 mins drive from Wooly. Located just up a little side road on the left (as you approach from Woolacombe) of the main road in Georgeham. Good idea to book.
Our favourite local - Traditional village pub, superb food, really friendly "local "atmosphere, easy parking just outside (double parking allowed-just inform the bar staff), or at nearby village carpark. Worth pre-booking a table in the bar area - gets busy at weekends/high season 5-10 mins drive or…
“National Trust tea room, pop in on your way back from a walk to Baggy Point for a cream tea, also has a beautiful garden.”
“Great pub 25 min walk away in Georgeham, we go to the open mic night on the first Sunday of the month which is always good fun, make sure you take a torch if you’re walking as the road is unlit.”
“Perfect Place to unwind after a visit to the beach. Serving food such as Tapas, Subs and Pizza's. Kids love the adventure play garden. Lots of seating inside and out. ”
“Just 5 minutes’ walk away from the cottage, Croyde’s famous freehouse is our favourite place to visit, with great food including breakfast, specials board, surf reports and live music throughout the year, don’t get bitten by the rattler cider, it’s 6%!”
