Duncans Mills General Store
Our local general store carries all the basics. A good place for groceries, sandwiches, local meats, wines and cheeses.
After checking out the local antiques and gift stores, stop by the full-service deli counter here! Duncans Mills is a 19th-century logging town -- the logs from here were shipped down to San Francisco, ending up in Bay Area structures and the nationwide railway system.
An excellent selection of fresh sandwiches! You can stop here for provisions on your way to hang at any one of the beautiful CA-1 Coastline beaches.
On your way to Jenner or Goat Rock Beach, stop here for your picnic supplies. They make amazing sandwiches as well as sell local cheeses, beers and other delicious food items. The building is ancient and is fun to check out just for the cool factor.
“Our go-to for a quick breakfast. 5 minutes to Duncans Mills across the road from the General Store, you can get sweet or savory pastries and good coffee. Their pizza is solid and they do whole pies on the weekends.”
“Coastal Wineries include Fort Ross Vineyard, Sonoma Coast Vineyard, Flowers Vineyard and Winery, Korbel Champagne Cellers (Tour favorite; both Cellars & gardens)”
“Pig Alley is a fantastic shop in Duncan Mills, which is close to the Russian River and on the way to Bodega Bay Shoreline. They carry a variety of items from jewelry to clothing to animal lover items - it's tasteful yet affordable. I'm a local and still shop there!”
“In Duncan Mills...Cafe Fear Cafe offers a California Cuisine with a Southern flair serving breakfast and lunch. Another favorite is Gold Coast Coffee & Bakery and on Sundays live music in the summer on Patio at the Blue Heron Bar & Tavern. Where the locals go.”
