Starting out as Sydney’s first organic sourdough bakery, Infinity quickly expanded to other baked breads and pastries. Now this bakery-slash-café is set in a fresh, rusty chic place with a menu that changes with the season, but the one thing that remains the same is their bread.
“... now here is a lovely little rustic café that serves wonderful coffee (Campos of course!) and delicious breakfast. On a sunny day I love to sit outside in the street-chairs and have their scrumptious sweetcorn fritters... The Bunker”
“Famous Gelateria that sells delicious gelato made onsite in a wide range of flavours. Highly recommend.”
“The best pub in the area, right across the road. Has a very popular rooftop, good selection of Australian craft beers. ”
“For $23 it is all you can eat of beautiful vegetarian food for dinner. Or pay $14 more to watch a movie on bean bags with your shoes off.”
“After the gays have been out for a weekend—or more—of dance parties, they go to this unlikely recovery station on Victoria Street to recharge with hearty German and Austrian cuisine. It’s traditional fare, like chicken and wiener schnitzels, served all day. Most people come at dinnertime, though it may be their breakfast. The Jaeger Schnitzel: two veal schnitzels the size of your plate and as big as your head, served with hash browns and a little bit of sauerkraut and salad. If you haven’t eaten for a day or so, it’s exactly what you need.”
