“For the skiers out there, my favorite resort by far! With a skiable area of 2,614 acres, Alta's base elevation is 8,530 ft and rises to 11,068 ft for a vertical gain of 2,538 ft. Located just outside of Salt Lake City, UT, Alta is annually covered by 500+ inches of the Greatest Snow on Earth.”
“If you are a snowboarder, you will love this place. Tons of parks to play around.”
“Snowbird is an unincorporated community in Little Cottonwood Canyon in the Wasatch Range of the Rocky Mountains near Salt Lake City, Utah, U.S. It is most famous for Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort, an alpine skiing and snowboarding area, which opened in December 1971.”
“This is a good place to get American pub food with a local brew. They have all of the Utah microbrew beers and make fantastic seasonal creamy chicken noodle soup. The beer on tap is regular strength and not 3.2%. The bottled beers have highest %. Both of us recommend the apricot hefeweizen. NEITHER of us recommend getting a mixed drink here as they are tiny. Check out the beer instead. ”
“Snowbird is a true Utah local treasure. Nestled in Little Cottonwood Canyon, you will find some of the best terrain and snow conditions on earth as well as excellent restaurant and bar options to wind down at after a day on the slopes”
