Remember when we didn't share every dish on the table? Cumulus was one of the first to show us how good communal meals can be. It's still one of the best at it, whether you visit for a boozy brunch or a late-night snack.

'Eating house' doesn't quite cut it. ‘All-day diner’ falls worryingly short. In fact, when trying to sum up the place Cumulus Inc plays in Melbourne’s hungry heart, ‘favourite clubhouse’ comes as close as any description.

Bustling, high-ceilinged café/bar with an open kitchen and upmarket menu, in old rag trade building. Opens 7am-11pm weekdays, 8am-11pm weekends, also quite known for its brunch menu
