Not recommending the restaurant so much, but the seafood market attached. Closer than Shelly's. Try the smoked fish dip.

Awesome service, view and atmosphere! Great menu and above average food. Most always see big Tarpon Fish off back dock.

“This is not a photo of Hunter Springs, but a building on Citrus Avenue, downtown Crystal River. Hunter Springs Park has a playground, pavilions, man made beach and kayak launch sites. People swim in crystal clear spring water, 72 degrees. They've recently renovated the park and you pay for parking but it's worth the $1 an hour. ”
