Excellent Museum exhibiting the founding of 'Hot Springs'; the story of how the name change to Truth or Consequences came about; and, the history and growth of the town and its peoples. Fine exhibits of pottery, Indian artifacts, and life before technology.

Geronimo Springs is a museum that should be in a museum! If you visit there, you will know exactly what we mean. Learn about all things Sierra County, from Geronimo to the name Truth or Consequences. “Fish & chips as good as I get oceanside! Tiny bowls include trip to salad bar which has separate bowls of mixed greens and iceberg--an important distinction for me. Beer & wine at reasonable prices, too. Closed between lunch and dinner. This place is almost always busy at noon with locals; try to go at 1:15 (they close at 2).”
