Zilker Park is a beautiful park in downtown Austin on the banks of the Colorado. The park contains a disc golf course, Austin;s botanical garden, soccer fields, canoes, a train ride, and the best swimming pool!

Cool little nature preserve right next to Zilker Park. They've got a center for kids to see animals that were rehabilitated but couldn't return to the wild. Lots of little paths to walk.
