A well-curated shop that sells hand-made,quirky and vintage items made by local artists as well as foreign ones. Their vintage clothes selection is very good and (unusual here) affordable!
another shop that should see, have a little of everything, it's one of my favorite
“Select perfumes, body care products and delicious soaps by brands that are unique and covetable. The shop is gorgeous too, and the staff couldn't be any friendlier!”
“More than just a store, this has become the nerve center of a community of DJs, producers, label managers, and promoters involved in electronic music. Their catalogue of new and secondhand records fills the city’s existential void with acid, dubstep, disco, funk, synth pop, grime, and house. Their crates hold true gems! Owners Gerard and Arnau are aware of their position in the music community—behind their name lies a DJ collective that plays in clubs and festivals all over town and almost weekly. Ask them about their gigs and get some of their T-shirts or tote bags as an atypical gift from Barcelona.”
“I created some of my first murals at this neighborhood hot-dog joint back in 2009. I was still maturing as an artist then, and so I painted what I saw. Here, I did a drawing of a monkey, a panda bear, and a sausage dog, which represent with all my affection my friends and owners of this classic establishment. There are two murals, one in the outer blind that can only be seen when it is closed, and another on the wall inside. And I should mention that the restaurant serves the best hot dogs in town.”
“A beautiful concept store with a Scandinavian air that offers the city’s best selection by new national designers—jewelry especially but also bags and decor. Jose, the owner, is a beautiful person who will always be happy to advise you and help you find what you’re looking for. Ask to see the chunky, angular rings by Alba Casares.”
