Portloe is charming and well worth a visit. We commissioned some paintings of local beaches and harbours that you can see displayed in the three guest bedrooms
Tiny, traditional fishing harbour. Home to the renowned Lugger Hotel and the Ship Inn. A rewarding although strenuous walk from East or West Portholland is recommended.
The harbour at Portloe has a tiny beach and you can swim there and sit on the rocks watching the fishing boats. You can fish yourself off the rocks nearby. The South West Coast Path runs by the harbour and you can walk the cliffs and see spectacular views in either direction. Lovely place for dogs…
A lovely walk to Portloe along the coast path from Pendower beach. The Ship Inn a nice, traditional pub in the village for pub food. Likewise, a nice walk in the opposite direction to Portscatho.
Tiny fishing village, quaint cottages and harbour. Coastal footpath to explore further views around the Jacka.
