Gasworks Arts Park has it all. With an amazing gallery, cafe and very popular dog park Gasworks is defintely worth the 10 minute trip by foot.
Lots of fun activities and regular performances. There is space to play for adults and kids. My high school class planted some of the first trees there.
Gallery and a theatre... however last time I checked the theatre was undergoing extensive renovations.
Community arts precinct producing a range of arts programs, workshops and activities for all ages. Plus outdoor Sunset cinema through Summer.
Farmers market operates every 3rd Saturday of each month. Cafe on-site, theatre and art galleries.
“If you find Hunky Dory a bit too rowdy for you (it can get insane in Summer), this quieter fish n chips bar may be a more comfortable option. ”
“Arguably the worst wine in St Kilda but an amazing view back to the Majestic and Fitzroy Street. Cheap beer and a chance to meet the locals. Non members welcome.”
“Only on the 3rd Saturday of each month. But the food is divine and straight from the farmers or producers. ”
“Fancy food in a posh pub setting. Top food and wine experience here. No taxi's required... it doesn't get much closer than this!!”
