Iconic pedestrian bridge in Newcastle-upon-Tyne connecting Quayside and Gateshead.
It is beautifully light at night, and it raises for larger vessels to pass under. You just need to look out the window to see it :)
“Leazes Park is a beautiful place to spend a sunny day. It is rather small but has lots of birds spending their time on the lake, so you're in for quite a view.”
“Newcastle is synonymous with football and St James' Park is home of the local Premier league team. Take a tour of the ground and changing rooms or better still go to a game for an unforgettable experience.”
“The Life Science Centre offers a combination of hands-on and display exhibits which have been designed to bring out your inner scientist, whilst having some fun in the process. Life also has a special area for under 7’s. This museum does have an admission charge and I would only recommend paying if there is an exhibition on. From November to February, Life hosts an outdoor ice rink in Times Square, just outside the Science Centre. ”
