is about 80 meter high. You have to be prepared for a walk to get here. Rocks can be slippery so adequate footwear is advised and not ideal for elderly or people with restricted mobility.

Waterfall on Samui. If you make it here be sure to enjoy some 'Som Tam' (papaya salad) and a coconut at the waterfall, they make a good one here!

Beautiful wooded area around the waterfall, swimming, huge ancient trees, small Thai food restaurants and some souvenir shops. This is where Thai families go at weekends and on holidays. Note there are 2 waterfalls at Na Meuang. This is the original, also known as Waterfall 1. Waterfall 2 - Safari Park is close by but not at all the same experience - highly commercial, expensive and questionable treatment of their animals. Not recommended!

There are 2 Namuang waterfalls. Muang in Thai means purple and is named so because of the purple rocks that form the falls. Namuang Waterfall 1 is a beautiful 18m high waterfall and easily accessible by a short walk into the jungle from the parking area nearby. There is a lovely pool formed at the foot of the waterfall where you will find tourists and locals alike jumping off rocks and taking a dip to cool off. Namuang Waterfalls are set in lush jungle surrounds, easily accessible just off the main ring road Route 4169 about halfway between Nathon and Lamai Beach.
