Turin people love the Valentino Park in all season! It's great for running, have a nice walk in the nature, picnic, sunbathe, studing, have a drink with friends. In fall season you can admire the romantic foliag. In Christmas season there are many events for childrenand families.
Valentino is the most romantic park in Turin. Along the avenues that run along the Po you come across some characteristic clubs and restaurants overlooking the river called "imbarchini" (where time ago one was possible to rent a boat), the elegant Castello del Valentino and the picturesque Borgo…
Nice for open air sports. Great also to sit at the kiosks to have a beer or a coffee. There are some restaurants inside the park and an Art Gallery (see the program first)
My favourite park in Torino where you can see also the Valentino Castle (now headquarters of the architecture faculty of Torino) and visit the Borgo Medievale
“Inside the Egyptian Museum at Torino guests will know the daily habits of this ancient civilization : how they built houses, how they slept, their clothes, daily objects and momies that are well maintained after all those years.”
“the cinema Museum Is unique. I could spent full days inside there. You can skip the cue for the elevator if you want to visit just the museum (more worthy)”
“It was originally built in the 16th century and was later modernized by Christine Marie of France in the 17th century, with designs by the Baroque architect Filippo Juvarra. The Royal Garden, north and east of the palace, was designed in 1697 by André le Nôtre, who also created the gardens at Versailles. The Palazzo Reale ticket allows you to view the Galleria Sabauda, the personal art collection of the Savoy monarchy, which was amassed over 400 years and includes gems by Van Dyck, Rubens and Lippi, and the archaeological Museum of Antiquities.”
“A place inside the city that's just high enough to show you a view of the whole city with it's alps mountains in the background”
