Greens opened back in 1979, as part of San Francisco’s Zen Center, and went from a cult-vegetarian following to a must-experience restaurant—very exquisite cuisine. It’s got the old-school, high-ceiling, exposed-beam warehouse look, with giant picture windows looking out on the water. It’s really a cool look that is timeless. This was one of Steve Jobs’ favorite restaurants. He loved the place.
Looking for vegetarian? It's just a block away inside Fort Mason. Great for lunch with beautiful view!
Amazing vegetarian cuisine in a beautiful setting overlooking the water. Make a reservation.
Gorgeous restaurant, great vegetarian food, beautiful sunsets. Ride the 43 Masonic bus (bus stop across the street at Brentwood), go to the end of the line (45 minute ride), and enjoy Fort Mason and the Marina Green.

“Near Ghirardelli Square, Crissy Field and Aquatic Park, Fort Mason is an historical place with nice walks, a cultural center that has coffee shops, restaurants, a farmer's market, art store, theater, and a wonderful bookstore. We love this place.”
“This is one my favorite areas to bike to, or have a picnic at. Spending a few hours by the beach, watching people outside, dogs running by and people exercising while taking in the views of the bay. Get there around noon and relax for a couple hours before making your way to lunch.”
“ "Hands down to one of the best clam chowder! Scoma’s is a seafood restaurant in San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf. It’s known for friendly service, family traditions & fresh Italian seafood.”
