Wonderful cafe; great lunch spot after a day at the trails at Delaware Water Gap or for breakfast before - beware, it closes at 2pm!
The closest thing to a NYC coffee shop! Delicious coffee, meals and a great vibe plus a gorgeous backyard seating.
Right on the courthouse circle, this cafe has excellent coffee and exquisite baked goods. Lunch is very good, as well. This is a 20 minute drive from our Airbnb.
Very cozy cafe in a historic brick building on the town square. Great coffee and small bites.

“Completing the entire 2,190 miles of the Appalachian Trail (A.T.) in one trip is a mammoth undertaking. Each year, thousands of hikers attempt a thru-hike; only about one in four makes it all the way. A typical thru-hiker takes 5 to 7 months to hike the entire A.T., and you will be able to take an easy look at where the trail continues from our area! ”
“The McDade trail offers hikers, bikers and cross country skiers 32 miles of uninterrupted trail with beautiful views of the Delaware River. There are several trailheads so you can easily customize your route to accommodate any distance. Elevation gain is minimal which allows for a pleasant, less technical walk. After your excursion, we recommend going for a bite to eat at Saen Thai Cuisine conveniently located right down the road.”
“Jazz-lovers must-visit! It is the oldest continuously running jazz club in the US. Beautiful dining hall with a stage and bar. In the summer the outside porch seating ideal. The road next to it leads to one of the most scenic Appalachian trails with scenic overlooks. 13.9 miles away”
