Lysefjord is one of Norway´s most celebrated fjords, often named as one of the highlights of Norwegian nature. I´ve got several suggestions for stuff to see and do in The Lysefjord!
One of the most famous fjords in the Stavanger region is Lysefjorden. The fjord is 42 kilometres long with rocky walls falling nearly vertically over 1000 metres into the water.
The Lysefjord is situated close to Stavanger, and is especially known for the mountain formations of Kjerag and Preikestolen (The Pulpit Rock).
