Great coffee, and even better baked goods. Try the hand made scones, (chive and goat cheese is our personal favorite) but get there early as they often run out!
If you are heading over to the Georgetown area, then we highly recommend grabbing a cupcake and coffee here! Unique flavors, friendly service, and a quick walk down to the waterfront make it a great spot.
Artsy neighborhood bakery and coffeehouse supplying expresso drinks, big cupcakes and signature granola
“Cupcakes to die for. Depending on the day and weather you might have to stand on line. ”
“Farmers Fishers Bakers is a farmer-owned sustainable restaurant serving delicious food.”
“Inside the Four Seasons in Georgetown, executive chef Drew Adams prepares several A-5 Wagyu beef options on a wood-burning grill. But for the granddaddy steak option of them all, try the 38-ounce prime porterhouse, which is big enough to serve two to three hungry diners.”
“A popular deli in the quiet part (East Village) of Georgetown. Famous for their pastrami sandwiches (each one has to have two pounds of meat on it), the rare roast beef, four-meat grinder, and beef dip sandwiches are also delicious. Great for some post-Dumbarton Oaks fuel!”
“Five years after graduating from Georgetown University, Luke has returned to his Hoya neighborhood. The newest DC location is our ninth, and it opened on August 23, 2012. Come enjoy the same delicious menu of lobster, crab and shrimp rolls, clam chowder and lobster bisque but this time in a two-story lobster shack. ”
