Pacific Whale Foundation
Enjoy the Humpback Whale highway where you can witness whales breaching and mothers caring for their calves. Whale watching season is around November through April.
We highly recommend getting out on the water during your visit! Early morning snorkel cruises are the best for calm waters. For a fun night out, book the Island Rhythms Sunset Cruise! One of our favorite things to do, especially during whale season. Marty Dread does not disappoint!
Simply the best operator for seeing whales and not getting wet in the process. They also have the best trained naturalists onboard to give you a brief education on the whale migration to Maui. Only available from December thru April.
This is a great company to plan a day on the water with! They do everything from dinner cruises, whale watching (November to April), snorkeling and more! We have been very happy every time we have booked with Pacific Whale Foundation!
“The Maui mall has a movie theater, Whole Foods, Fun Factory and other restaurants and shopping.”
“This is a great way to see the crater at a magnificent time of day. You’ll wake up in the middle of the night to Paia and get driven to the top of Haleakala where you’ll find a perfect spot to stand and get ready for the golden light. Maui Sun Riders gives you the freedom to make your way down the crater at your own speed – setting you off on your own ahead of the guided groups that go down together with a leader. You’ll want to pack warmer gear for this, as it’s quite cold up there at 10,000ft. when you’re waiting in the dark for the sun to rise!”
