Definitely an older scene at Little Kings. Drinks are alright but the outdoor seating is fabulous and you can sometimes catch DJ Mahogany spinning for a dance party.
Little Kings has a great outdoor courtyard and caters to grad student and alumni crowd. Must be 25 to enter.
“This bar is different than most bars. It looks like a normal dive bar except that they make amazing cocktails and do not over charge. ”
“Great Vegetarian restaurant. Brunch on the weekend with people lining up before it opens it’s so popular. Also great for lunch and dinner during the week. The desserts are always amazing!”
“Terrapin Beer Co. is open to the public for tours and tastings every Wednesday through Sunday. During our Tasting Room hours, guests will enjoy Athens’ freshest brews, live music, a family- and pet-friendly environment (pets must remain on a leash and outdoors), good people, and educational tours led by our knowledgeable Brewery Ambassadors. We have both an indoor tasting room and a big backyard so guests are sure to find their perfect atmosphere. If you’d like to take an educational tour, please wear closed toes shoes (we have a few pairs if you forget!). Educational tour times vary by day, so check in at the gift shop when you get to the brewery for more information!”
“A delightful farm to table experience no matter, brunch, dinner or lunch, with a nice wine list and incredibly reasonable prices considering the ultra high level of fresh healthy food. 5 stars all the way. I especially love the "Veggie lentil pecan burger - Add bacon!" So amazing. good soups, salads, and pimiento cheese also! PS- if you walk, cycle, or skateboard they knock off a % of your final bill. so unique, so Athens. ”

“Daily Groceries Co-op is proud to have served the Athens, Georgia, community for the past two decades. Over the years, we’ve grown from a small general store to a thriving community resource for good food and good ideas. Owned by our customers, the Co-op attracts a diverse group of people who share an interest in healthy food and investing in their local community. Daily Groceries opened its doors in 1992 in response to the closure of Bell’s Grocery Store, a small, centrally-located store that had served the downtown area and provided options for a wide variety of consumer needs.”
