Located just under 2 hours north of Lubbock, Palo Duro Canyon is the second largest canyon (behind the Grand Canyon) in the world! Spend the day driving and hiking around the state park. You can even book a ride on horseback to take you on the trails! Be sure to pack plenty of water!

Palo Duro is the 2nd largest canyon in the United States. It boasts beautiful views, well kept trails and scenic views. If you visit in the summer, please be sure to bring plenty of water. It is about 10 degrees hotter in the canyon than in town.
