The Fiction Kitchen
Best vegan friendly restaurant in Raleigh. There is usually always a wait and they don’t take reservations. Brunch is super popular!
“Farm-to-table restaurant with live music every night at 6:30pm. Closed Mondays.”
“Target! Need I say more? This place has a great free parking garage under the store! It is a mini Target, but I usually find what I want there!”
“Large LGBTQ club in Raleigh. A little bit of a drive but they have excellent drag shows and outdoor seating and well as dance floors. ”
“The head chef was nominated for the James Beard award, where chef’s nominate other chefs for the award. It’s very prestigious. All of that aside, the food is incredible. A little spendy- with drinks you will probably spend close to $100 for two. Without drinks, you could keep it closer to $70. But the food is totally worth it. If you are fond of Indian fusion food and allowing yourself one expensive meal out while you’re here, go to Garland. Also, they’re downtown which is always fun. Very close to a beautiful park and other cool bars (one of which is in their basement) and desserteries. And downstairs from Poole’s, one of the best small music venues in the triangle. ”
